Aurora, Colo. — As the Saturday night Aurora roller skating event was proceeding towards its end, a shocking sight at the parking at the Aurora ice skating rink was witnessed as two teenagers were shot; one sustained severe bodily injuries. Aurora police have taken over the case and are trying to locate the suspects.
Shooting Outside Skate City
The shooting took place around 5:20 p.m. near Skate City, 15100 E Girard Avenue. The officers from the Aurora Police Department were already informed about the shootout at the south parking lot of the rink, so they quickly arrived at the scene to take control of the situation.

Upon their arrival on the scene, police learned that an adolescent boy had already been hospitalized and required substantial medical attention. Neither of them could determine his age exactly at that time. Likewise hurt at being just 14 years old, the girl was not seriously injured either but was taken to the hospital by an ambulance.
Evidence Found at the Scene
The investigation at the parking lot produced results where a great number of shell cases of distinct brands and types were found on the premises. That suggested that there was more than one gunman to participate in the firing. Authorities discovered more items in the vicinity that could contain additional proof, although those details have not been shared yet.
