Aurora police investigate shooting at Skate City; two teens injured

Aurora, Colo. — As the Saturday night Aurora roller skating event was proceeding towards its end, a shocking sight at the parking at the Aurora ice skating rink was witnessed as two teenagers were shot; one sustained severe bodily injuries. Aurora police have taken over the case and are trying to locate the suspects.

The shooting took place around 5:20 p.m. near Skate City, 15100 E Girard Avenue. The officers from the Aurora Police Department were already informed about the shootout at the south parking lot of the rink, so they quickly arrived at the scene to take control of the situation.
